NEET UG 2026 registration begins for MBBS, BDS and nursing admissions; apply online before March 8 deadline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the NEET UG 2026 registration process for students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing and other undergraduate medical courses across India.
The online application window opened on February 8, 2026, and candidates can apply till March 8, 2026 through the official portal. The entrance exam will be conducted on May 3, 2026, in offline mode at centres nationwide in multiple languages.
NEET UG 2026 Schedule
The National Testing Agency has released the complete schedule for registration, correction, and examination. Candidates must track all deadlines carefully to avoid missing any step.

As per the National Testing Agency, candidates must pay the application fee based on their category while submitting the online form. The General category fee is ₹1700, General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must pay ₹1600, and SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender applicants need to pay ₹1000.

For candidates applying from outside India, the fee is ₹9500. Additionally, processing charges and GST will be applicable during payment.
NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in pen-and-paper (offline) mode at exam centres across the country. The test will be offered in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese, Punjabi and Urdu.
Details regarding city intimation slips and admit cards will be released later on the official website.
While applying, candidates must submit the form only through online mode, fill only one application, and upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature and valid address proof.
They should use their own mobile number and email ID for communication and carefully read the Information Bulletin before final submission. Any incorrect or multiple applications may lead to disqualification.
After the results are declared, qualified candidates will take part in the counselling process for seat allotment. This includes All India Quota (AIQ) counselling, state quota counselling, choice filling and locking of colleges, and multiple seat allotment rounds for admission into medical and dental colleges.
