Odisha Board 10+2 Arts Result to be Declared Today, Check at orissaresults.nic.in

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has declared the Odisha 10+2 results for Arts students today, 5 September. The results were declared at 4 PM, according to the Education Department of Odisha.

For now, 10+2 Arts candidates of Odisha Board can check their results online on the result portal of the state, www.orissaresults.nic.in. According to reports, 218,000 students have taken the class 12 examination in the Arts stream and are expecting their results.

Girls have outperformed boys in arts result this year. The pass percentage for girls is 75.48% while that of boys’ is 57.53%
Only 57.53% of students of Odisha Board 10+2 have passed in vocational subjects.
About 10 higher secondary institutions of Odisha achieved 100% pass results in arts exam.
22,196 students passed in the first division, 26,027 in the second division and 1,00,101 in the third division.

The examinations were due to be held in March, but the tests for some papers could not be held due to the lockdown and were later scrapped. The state government had a special assessment method devised for evaluating those papers. Odisha State Government adopted the alternative marking scheme taking a cue from the alternative assessment policy of CBSE.

According to the revised method, if a student has taken more than three papers, an average score will be calculated from the three best papers. If they have taken three papers, an average score will be calculated from the two best papers.

Odisha Board 10+2 Arts Result 2020: How to Check?

1. Visit the official website of Odisha Board: odisharesults.nic.in

2. On the homepage, under CHSE Odisha Section, click ‘Annual CHSE Examination +2 Arts- 2020’ Link.

3. Enter Registration No, Roll No.

4. Click on Submit.

5. As the result appears on the screen, download it for future reference.

Earlier, the state released the 10+2 results for the Science and Commerce streams. In the Science stream, 72.33 per cent of students passed, while in the commerce stream, 74.95 per cent of students passed. As for the class 10 results, the pass percentage of the students was 78.76 per cent. However, the Odisha Board is yet to release the results of Vocational subjects.

Last year, 65.89 per cent of the students who took the 10+2 examination in the Arts stream had passed their examination.
