The Punjab School Education Board has announced the last date to register for admission into classes 5, 8, and 12. Interested and qualifying candidates must register by July 31.

New Delhi: On March 26, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) declared that students can register for admission into classes 5,8,10, and 12 by July 31, 2024, for the 2024-25 academic year. According to the official notification, "Government/Aided/Affiliated and Associated School Principals, along with all students of Punjab State under the Punjab School Education Board, are hereby notified that the deadline for regular student admissions for the academic year 2024-25, ranging from fifth to twelfth classes, is July 31, 2024."

Punjab Board Class 10 Exams will be conducted from February 13, 2024, to March 5, 2024 (11 AM to 2:15 PM), while class 12 exams are ongoing. The class 12 exams began on February 13 and will continue until March 30, 2024 (11 AM to 2:15 PM). Students who have qualified in the PSEB examinations can apply for admission within 15 days of the declaration of the result.

After the exams are completed, the Punjab Board will release the results for classes 5, 8, 10, and 12. In the previous year, class 10 got a pass percentage of 97.54%, with girls surpassing boys. Girls attained a pass percentage of 98.46%, whereas boys achieved 96.73%. Moreover, Pathankot district boasted the highest pass percentage (99.19%), while Barnala recorded the lowest (95.96%).
