Punjab NEET PG Round 3 counselling registration begins January 3, with 280 seats available including 50 NRI seats.

The Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 round 3 schedule has been officially released by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for postgraduate medical admissions in the state. As per the notification, the registration process for round 3 will start on January 3, 2025, for eligible candidates seeking MD, MS, DNB, Diploma, and ultrasonography training seats. The university has also published the provisional vacancy position, detailing seat availability across government and private medical colleges.

How Many Seats are Available in Punjab NEET PG Round 3?
According to the provisional vacancy list released on January 2, 2025, a total of 280 seats are available for Punjab NEET PG round 3 counselling. This includes 50 NRI seats, spread across government and private medical colleges in the state. These vacancies will be filled through online counselling based on merit and choices filled by candidates.
What is the Punjab NEET PG Round 3 Application Fee?
Candidates must pay the counselling fee through the university’s online payment portal while submitting the round 3 application form.
- General category: ₹5,900 (including 18% GST)
- SC category: ₹2,950 (including 18% GST)
The fee is mandatory for completing the registration process.

Security Deposit Details for Government and Private Colleges
The required security deposit varies based on the type of institution and category:
- Government medical colleges:
- General category: ₹25,000
- Reserved category: ₹10,000
- Private medical colleges:
- All categories: ₹2,00,000
Candidates who paid the security deposit in round 2 but were not allotted a seat do not need to pay again. However, they must confirm participation in round 3 through the online portal.
After the completion of choice filling and merit list review, the university will proceed with seat allotment based on merit, preferences, and seat availability. Shortlisted candidates will then be required to complete document verification and reporting at the allotted institute as per the counselling instructions.
