SXUK PG Admission 2025 Open; Apply by May 12

SXUK will take admission to PG programs (except MBA and EMBA) through an admission test. The tests will be conducted on May 16, 17, and 18, 2025. Read the article for more details.

St. Xavier’s University Kolkata (SXUK) is inviting applications for the PG programs (except MBA and EMBA) for the 2025 session. The university will publish the selection list based on the admission test on May 22, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

The admission test is an Internet Based Test (IBT). The minimum system requirements are: Windows 7 or above, 2 GB RAM or above, Core 2 Duo or above, 64-bit, 20 GB Free HDD Space in ‘C’ drive, Single plug and play colour web camera with the proper driver installed and working. In the case of a laptop, an inbuilt web camera should be activated. A stable Internet connection will be required.

Candidates who are willing to appear for the Admission Test (IBT Mode) from the University Campus must send an application to admission.enquiry@sxuk.edu.in. The same procedure will be followed like other candidates. The University will only provide the infrastructural support. The request must be made by May 14, 2025, up to 3:00 pm.

SXUK PG Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will not be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than five years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating 5 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The graduation degree course must be UGC recognised and must be of at least three years. Admission will be based on admission test marks.

The minimum eligibility criteria is 45% marks for General and 40% marks for Specified Category* in the qualifying exam for all PG programs and 50% for General and 45% for Specified Category* for LLM.

NOTE: If the candidate completed his/her graduation degree in SXUK and paid the alumni membership fee, is not required to pay again. Also, he/she is not required to pay the Admission Fee.
