The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) has officially announced the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP) 2026. Interested candidates can appear for the JEEP 2026 exam, which is conducted for admission to diploma programmes offered by polytechnic institutions across Uttarakhand.

According to the official notification, the online registration process for JEEP 2026 will begin on January 15, 2026, and the last date to submit the online application form is April 15, 2026. However, interested candidates opting for the offline mode can obtain and submit the OMR-based application forms from February 2 to April 15, 2026.

The JEEP 2026 examination serves as an entrance gate for admission to a wide range of diploma courses, including engineering, technology, textile design, garment technology, fashion design, and pharmacy. Admissions will be offered by government, private, rural, and women’s polytechnic colleges affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.

To be eligible for diploma engineering and other technical programmes, candidates must have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination. For admission to diploma pharmacy courses, applicants should have completed Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology. Meanwhile, students seeking lateral entry into the second year of diploma engineering programmes must have passed 10+2 with PCM or vocational subjects, or have a two-year ITI qualification.
