The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board Class 10 and 12 improvement/compartment examination date have been postponed.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has announced the postponement of the compartment exams for Class 10, 12. The detailed schedule will be posted on the board's official websites, upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.

The compartment exams will now be held on July 22, 2023, according to the official notice issued by the UP Board. Previously, the compartment exams for matric and intermediate were slated for July 15, 2023.

The UP Board Class 10th Compartment Exams 2023 will be held from 8 AM to 11:15 AM in the morning, while the UP Board Class 12th Compartment Exams 2023 will be held from 2 PM to 5:15 PM in the evening. There are 44,669 students who have registered for compartment exams, of whom 18,400 are taking the intermediate exam and 26,269 are taking the high school exam.

According to data issued by the state board, a total of 31,16,487 candidates took the matric examinations this year, while a total of 27,69,258 pupils took the class 12th exams. The overall pass rate for the UP Board Class 10th Exams 2023 was 89.78%, and the overall pass rate for the UP Board Class 12th Exams 2023 was 75.52%.

Students must receive a minimum of 35% in each subject to meet the UPMSP's passing mark requirements. Those who perform poorly on one or more exams will have the opportunity to take compartment tests.
