UP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling has been postponed due to delay in AIQ counselling by MCC.

The Uttar Pradesh NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling has been postponed by the Office of the Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh. The decision affects admissions to MD, MS, Diploma, and DNB courses in the state.
As per the official notice issued on January 6, 2026, the counselling has been deferred because the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not yet started the All India Quota (AIQ) Round 3 counselling. Candidates are advised to keep checking official websites for updates.
Why has UP NEET PG Round 3 Counselling Been Postponed?
The DGME clarified that the delay in AIQ Round 3 counselling by MCC, New Delhi, is the primary reason for postponing the state-level process. Since AIQ counselling must progress first, the UP NEET PG Round 3 online counselling has been put on hold until further orders.
The postponement impacts all candidates registered for UP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling, including aspirants seeking admission to MD, MS, Diploma, and DNB seats under the Uttar Pradesh state quota. No fresh schedule has been announced yet.
Candidates are advised to regularly monitor official counselling portals for any new announcements regarding revised dates or further instructions. No action is required from students at this stage other than staying updated.
Once the All India Quota Round 3 counselling begins and progresses, the state authorities are expected to announce a revised schedule for UP NEET PG Round 3 counselling. Further details regarding seat allotment, reporting, and document verification will be shared through official notifications. Candidates are advised to check the official website and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
