New Delhi: Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad's renowned business school, recently marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 28th convocation on Saturday, May 27, 2023. The event took place in the auditorium situated within the expansive Bachupally campus. The occasion was graced by Mr. Rajat Ojha, the Founder & CEO of Immersive Gamitronics Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based company known for developing highly popular mobile and PlayStation games.

Mr. Ojha, who is also involved in the creation of an Indian Metaverse platform, added to the significance of the VJIM convocation ceremony. Sri. Kode Durga Prasad, Vice-President, Vignana Jyothi, Sri. J S Rao, General Secretary, VJIM Convocation Vignana Jyothi, Sri Harishchandra Prasad, Member of Vignana Jyothi Society made their presence in the VJIM convocation.

Speaking about climate change, Sri Kode Durga Prasad urged the students to become responsible global citizens. He stated that it is undeniable that regular disruptions will become the new normal or 'business as usual'. He posed questions to the students, asking whether they will be invigorated or frustrated by these disruptions and whether they will adapt to change and embrace the challenges presented by them.

The Director presented the annual report and conveyed a message to the outgoing students. He stated that achieving success through shortcuts may provide momentary gratification but will not have a lasting impact throughout their lives.

Mr. Rajat Ojha addressed the students and shared his thoughts. He mentioned that experiencing both construction and deconstruction is an integral part of life. He reassured them that they will overcome any challenges they face and eventually have the opportunity to stand on a stage, like the one they were currently in, or any other platform, to share what kept them strong and motivated.

He advised them not to take life too seriously but to approach the tasks they undertake with seriousness. VJIM placements were backed up by many students in this batch in various organizations including Accenture, Amul, Asian Paints, Blue Star, Cushman & Wakefield, Deloitte, HT Media, MRF, Tech Mahindra, among others.

VJIM, with a commendable faculty to student ratio of 1:15 and an impressive 85% of its faculty holding PhD degrees, boasts active academic collaborations with North Texas University, USA, and Lincoln University College, Malaysia. The teaching-learning process at VJIM is guided by a distinguished academic board consisting of renowned academicians, management professionals, and senior corporate leaders.
