In view of increasing cases of COVID-19 infections in the state, the WB Chief Minister decided that it will be better not to hold any selection tests for screening of West Bengal Board 2021 candidates. The decision is made of students who are preparing to appear for Madhyamik and Uccha Madhyamik Board Exams.

Earlier, West Bengal State Government was scheduled to conduct a screening test for the selection of Class 10th and 12th candidates. Further after the screening test, only qualified candidates would be eligible to appear in the board examination.
