Some faculties are very qualified and good at teaching, some of them lack in experience and teaching curriculum first year has many subjects which are of no use in the preceding years like Environmental Science, Chemistry.

Our Internship will start in mid 2016.

Many IT giants like IBM, Dell, Flipkart comes to our college for placement average package is 3.5 lakhplacement 80%.

College fest UURJA cultural, Ignite technical not much good when compared to fests conducted by IIT's Participation is less.

Scholarships is for 12th class merit holders loans are easily available by banks which has a tieup with college.

Gender ratio in engineering is less among i.e. 4:1 Lack of transportation facility gives a lot of trouble to students extracurricular is not much supported by the faculties only fresher's party is conducted, no other student/dorm partiesthere is no discrimination in college campus based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good but overpriced hostel seats are also fewthere are many PGs and hostels which are also very overpriced.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!
