Remarks
Good exposure, good number of companies visit for cit branches, good location, but extremely high fees, placements especially for non cit branches are not good at all. Fees to placements ratio is very poor.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are good, depends on you thou, exams are of moderate level, depends on the subjects, some subjects are pretty easy, some require attention to details. Exams are mainly divided into 2 categories. 1st is your mid term exam and the 2nd one is the end term exam that's it.
Placement Experience
Placements for computer science streams are good, for Non computer science students it's very average or below average. Job package is not at all good for students of NON CIT branch. Yes the college provides internship in a pretty hassleless way, you won't have to worry about your internships. But stipends are still limited to students of computer science branch
College Events
Urja is the cultural fest and ignite is the tech fest. Urja is good but ignite lacks the punch because regular classes are still going on during ignite. But events in them are good you can participate in those events. Apart from these 2 there are many events which are held in college on a very small basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive, one of the most expensive place to do your b.tech. I would say that it's not worth it. You can do your engineering from someplace cheaper and will still get an equivalent job offer, even better than here.
Fees and Financial Aid
College does provide scholarship it is a good amount, you will have to be the top 5 of your class, also you will have to apply for it. For loan facility, you can get it easily from any bank, instead of taking college's assistance.
Campus Life
Labs are good, for sports you will have to be self aware, they are pretty okayish i would say. There are events in sports which happens time to time but a bit of organization is required. If you are a sports person then you will definitely enjoy it.
Hostel Facilities
No i haven't opted for hostel, so i can't comment on that. But some of my friends are in hostel. Hostel is good, but as is the case of everywhere else food is not that good. Hostel also fill up quite fast so you have to book one during your counseling only.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good senior students also help, the best thing about the college is, it has a totally ragging free campus, also seniors are quite good and helping, rest happens everywhere. You be nice to them and they'll be to you.
Admission
I filled the form for the college exam, also known as UPESEAT. Gave the test, got my rank, went for the counseling session, opted for my branch, paid some amount of fees, and just like that got admitted.
Faculty
Like every college some faculties are pretty awesome some are totally not so good. But the balance is there. Finally it totally depends on you. You will have to do the heavy lifting. Attendance is also mandatory at 75%.
