Pros - Good location - the best part of college Decent faculty- they are good and helpful Good learning atmosphere- you can learn and thrive Cons - heavy fees structure , plus they don't provide any sort of long run scholarship

For oil and energy sector it's good , good learning atmosphere, decent faculty and modertae labs. Exam structure was quite easy if we are setting JEE MAIN abenchmark, It contain technical and non technical sections In technical sections they ask PCM and in non technical Gk and English.

Yes they provide internship but not to everyone , if you are close to placement cell you'll be getting a good internship opportunity. Coming to placements , not up to the. Mark students are forced to sit in every company which is not even relevant to them and if you deny they will debbar you from placement.

There are many events that are held by UPES, but urjja and ignite are two notable events. Urjja is the cultural fest , in my first year the organizing committee don't have that much budget to call some star performer , but from last year they are improving it. Ignite is the technical fest with nothing technical in it. It's more like a get together meeting with 1 or 2 technical stuff happening there

It's the most important part of my review. Let me make this very clear studying in UPES is very costly. I'll accept the fact that location wise it's brilliant but you don't go college to enjoy the beauty. For B.tech it's like 3 lpa , and it you include hsotel and other expenses it reaches around 4.5 lpa which is way too much for a middle class family

No , noting like that,you have to arrange all money by your own if you want to study in UPES dehradhun. They provide a one go scholarship in 1st year depending upon you physics , chemistry and maths score in 12.

Labs are modertae , if you look at fees they are charging. In extra curricular activities there are many students chapters which organizie different events both technical and non technical in each semester. Now coming to sports , the UPES sports gorund is pure gem, surrounded by mountains and green valleys, to be very honest I still miss them.

Yes , hostels charge from 1 to 1.5 lpa depending upon room sharing. Facilities are decent they provide gym, pool table and some of them even swimming pool but food quality if not upto the mark , I am not saying all hostel are bad but majority of them.

Well I haven't received any of them till now , so I am not in a proper position to answer this question. But my experience with my seniors were okish , people are busy with thier own life problems. it's a fact

I was selected in UPESAT , my rank was around 1200 , I got call for counselling. We have to choose a location either Delhi or kolkata for counselling purpose. I went there, first of all there was an introduction from college people, and then the process begins , and I got the admission

They are decent , not the best but they will provide you enough to understand the concept. If I talk about faculty of my department some of them were very supportive ,I mean one can discuss their personal life problems with them, they will provide you guidance and support.
