My college experience

The college is good thing for Bihar dwellers since most of them belongs to Bihar. It is a negative thing but its placement for soft branches is too good since most reputed companies come and if you have the skills then you will be easily get selected but the environment of the college is bad since most of them has a very bad rank and they will just chill and demotivate you to learn or read.

Exam structure is too good, since it is organised by BIT Mesra and question may be from any of the faculties made by its different campuses. Course curriculum is now B.tech and you can do any other things for your career like coding or gate. The best part is you will get a chance to apply for reputed companies and its your ability that you may or may not be part of it.

Placement and job opportunities are good enough since all big companies come and if you have skills then you can easily get selected in them. For this you may have to go its main campus Mesra but it is only 6-8 hours journey. Our college don't provide internship, you have to arrange by yourselves.

If you want to improve yourself mentally or personalities wise then there is events and if you want to grow or be a part of that fully or your career by that event then it is not for you. You can enjoy the events. The events are Athletic meet, Prakrida (game event), Technika (cultural event) and many like this. If you are a little bit talented or devoted then you easily get a chance to be a part of it.

Fee structure of the college is expensive. It perhaps a little bit higher than 1500000 and if you get backlogs then you have to give rs. 20000 for reregistering. If you belong to a simple middle class family, then don't opt this college. It is quite expensive for the things they will give you.

There is no loan facility provided by the college, you have to manage it by yourself. There is a good scholarship on merit based cgpa basis but it is quite hard to get 8 cgpa or higher than that. I don't get the scholarship. A very few student can get that. In addition to it, there is also some other scholarship but has a very large terms and conditions.

If you want to be a part of extracurricular activities, you can easily get that. You have to improve that by yourself or by help of seniors. The labs is just like faculties, very few labs will be done in good manner. Most of them are just of be a part of syllabus and time pass. The lab duration is 3 hours and in most of the cases you have to do nothing.

In first year, the hostel is compulsory and afterwards it is hard to leave you hostel since administration doesn't allow to leave you the hostel unless you have a very good reason. Hostel infrastructure and facilities is very good and you have to pay optimum fees for it. Hostel and mess is too good to leave at the fee you will be charged.

There is no alumni network for the college but if you manage to connect them, most of them will help you. They will guide you in a way what they understood the college but that will be advantageous. I will suggest someone to live in connection with the senior, it will be very helpful and don't hesitate to ask anything , they will reply you friendly.

I applied for the college on its site and get selected on the basis of jee mains rank which is 79408. It is fully based on jee mains rank and merit based. There is also the quota for home state and obc which may be applied to me, since i am a part of both obc and Bihar.

few faculty are worthy to listen and knowledgeous. You have to read yourself and you have to listen those faculties since there is compulsory to have 75% attendance. A very faculties are good enough that you can not ignore. Whoever and whatever they are you have to give respect in front of them.
