Good option as a private university

I am happy with the decision I made about coming in this college. I have no regrets at the end. I am really learning alot and enjoying my college life here. At first, I wasn't really at extra curricular. The Platform provided was really awesome, it completely changed and enhanced me.

We have 8 semester based program, where there's almost 25-28 credits each semester. As in theoretical subject there's 30 percent criteria of internal and 20 for midsemester and 50 for end semester. For the lab based subject, their results are based on continuous evaluation and a grand viva. It's generally of 1 credit.

UPES has collaboration with IBM. College offers decent placement for almost 90 percent and above students. It promises the internship to each and every student. Few companies visit by their own also for internship opportunities regarding some different field of your interest.

There are two main events in college. UURJA which is the cultural fest of the college. College spent alot of the money on the fest for the events and activities. Also the decent artists are invited like Parmish Verma, Hardy sandhu and more. Then comes the IGNITE, which is the technical fest.

Fee is bit expensive, it's almost 1.7 to 2.2 lakh per semester. Each course cost upto 15-16 lakhs for the completion. Hostel fee is excluded which cost around 1.3 lakh per year for triple sharing room and 1.5 lakh for double sharing room.

Scholarship is provided by the college based on your UPESEAT rank and Class 12 marks. Which can be continued based on your performance and GPA in the College. The scholarship is only for the tution fee. College also have tie up with some banks which helps in loan facility.

College provides lot of opportunities and options if you are interested in extra curricular activities. There are lot clubs and student chapters regarding them. You can join any of them and move forward. Labs, sports and infrastructure is also decent.

Some of the senior are well settled and placed in very decent companies like Microsoft,Dell and Amazon. There are quite cooperative and provide some realistic guidance. Seniors also help other than studies and providing mental support.

After completing my Class 12, I have registered for the UPESEAT Exam as a backup after JEE Mains as it's one of the reputable college. I have appeared for the UPESEAT Exam 2017, where I have scored the rank under 4500. Then I have been called for the counseling at Delhi. Where I opted for the branch CSE CCVT.

Facilities are quite friendly and cooperative. They understand the students potential and helps accordingly. They are quite open and ready to explain or even work with you even after the college hours.
