Very strict college and disciple is the key element here.

The college is very disciplined and study takes place on a regular note. There are no free period or any other stuff like that. The only negative thing that many boys will not like is that boys are not allowed to keep beard.

The course consists of 4 years with each year having 2 semesters. So there are a total of 8 semesters in the total course. You will learn around 28-30 different subjects within these 4yrs. There are theory as well as practical exams which occur twice a year. Odd semesters generally take place in the month of May-June and the even semesters in the month of Nov-December.

College doesn't provide internship on their own. But if you want to do one, the college will allow. Many companies come here for placements. Infosys and CTS are 2 big names that do mass recruitments here. These 2 companies take almost 70% of the students. Other names include ITC Infotech, Bentley, Wipro, Indus solutions and many more.

One major event celebrate here is called SREY. It is the annual tech fest event usually held in April. This event includes all technical events and many fun events. Some events include Roborush, Robo soccer, Robo golf, Innovatia where you can show your Innovative skills, Codigo which is a coding contest, Photography, games like FIFA, PUBG, Counter Strike, Treasure hunt where you will have to find a object given in the college area and many more.

The college follows a basic fee structure as instructed by the university. The fee is around Rs.40000 for each semester. So the 4yr course approximately takes Rs. 3 lakhs. If your score is above 80% in Higher Secondary, then you will get 50% stipend on the fee, so approx 2lakhs. For the TFW quota, the fee is very less, i.e. only Rs.2000 for each semester. So you can study here in only Rs.16000 for the entire 4yrs.

There is no scholarship for general male students. However, SC/ST male students get 10% scholarship. Any female student gets 25% scholarship. So if you are a general male candidate, then sorry guys. You will not be eligible for any scholarship.

The lab is superb. Every equipments are maintained and works unlike many other colleges. You will get a practical idea of the things you are studying. Regarding sports, tournaments are scheduled throughout the year. These include cricket, football, badminton and table tennis competitions. All the tournaments are inter-department based.

All the seniors are very helpful. It is a ragging free campus. One the date of joining, the Director will address you by saying, "No one does ragging here except me!!" The seniors are super friendly and will guide you during your semester and campus placement. Do take help from them as they know the situation.

I got into this college through WBJEE exam. My rank was in the 8000s. If your WBJEE rank is within 12000, you will get e chance in this college. There will be 3 rounds of upgradation in this entrance exam. If you get this college, then first you will have to go there on a particular date (which they will mention) and do the document verification part. They will then give a date on which the course will start.

The overall faculty of the college is good. Some are excellent. They reach everything and attendance is a crucial issue here. You will have to keep a minimum of 75% else you will have to pay 500rs. for each subject where attendance is lower than 75%.
