A Nice college to learn

College authority sometimes conflict with student but this college best for those students who want to study and learn. You will get a very studious and competitive ambience here. Sometimes they charge us unexpected penalties of money but overall this is a good college.

Course Curriculum is okay but a bit old fashioned. Per academic year we have to appear for two semester examinations,one odd semester and one even semester. In every semester we have to appear for two internals also.There are also class tests in between.

Mainly renowned Information Technology companies come to our college to recruit our final year student. Infosys and Cognizant are the mass recruiting companies of our college.Also ITC Infotech takes some students. Job opportunity is good and almost 80% of the students secure jobs.

This college mainly focuses on studies. But students also get to spend some quality time in the campus. The college organises intra college sports tournament,freshers welcome, technical fest, cultural festival.

The fees structure is feasible. It costs around 40,000 to 45,000 INR every semester. There is also loan system and installment available for the student who are unable to afford. Also there are some seats for TFW scheme as per WB govt. Rules and Regulations.

There is TFW scholarship for 5 students every class as per the university rule. But the criteria is student's family income should be maximum 2,50,000 INR per annum. Besides, there is also loan system available for students.

Extracurricular activities are done all over the year. Labs are good in infrastructure where student can get knowledge and do their own research.Annual Sports Day is celebrated in the college which includes events like cricket,football,badminton,TT.

This college actually provides student a ragging free campus. Seniors are too much helpful and humble, the bond between senior and junior students is very good in this college. The alumni network is too good,ex students of our college are all over the world doing their jobs in renowned companies.

I appeared for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and with my rank in that exam I got the chance to go for an online counseling process where the students get to select their choices of college as per the rank.I followed the counseling process and managed to get a seat in this college

Every faculty members have their masters or post doctorate from some renowned institution and also they are highly qualified. Some of them are good. They help in our studies ,encourage us to participate in different types of extra curricular activities
