Remarks

The location of the College between the mountains of Mussoorie and Dehradun with exceptionally good weather was the best feature. Only College in India to provide the best-specialized courses. The most negative remark is the strength of the College. Due to soo many courses, there were many students studying around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course plan for your program is pre-defined and already mentioned in the prospectus. They follow the same course plan throughout the program you have chosen. This College runs on 4 pointer criteria system. 30 marks for internals, 20 for mid-semester exam, and the rest 50 for the end semester. They also include lab practicals and workshops in your curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

Overall placements are good. Yes, our College provides 100% internships to the students. Gulf, Schlumberger, British gas, Vizag steel, tata steel, Maruti Suzuki, catapillar, honda, skoda, halliburton, IBM, Dell, HAL, and many other companies provide internship in our College. Some companies pay stipends some don't.

College Events

4.5

Urja is a College festival that comes once I and a year in the month of November. Many cultural, cinematic, talent hunt competitions are done at this festival. Competition like Robo war, band war, dance competition are also done in which various Colleges participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this College is very expensive around 4-5 lakh per annum. You have to register yourself at the beginning of every semester by paying the fee in advance. This College is strict about fee regulation. Students with weaker family incomes can get discounts up to 20%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided to the student who scored high in the semester and to the economically weaker students. Yes, loan facility is provided by College. Various banks provide education loans for our College. I haven't availed of any loan.

Campus Life

5

Labs and sports activities in our College were exceptionally good. Robotics lab, nano lab, electric lab, electronics lab, workshop, physics lab, chemistry lab, biodiesel lab, aeronautics lab, and many more to go. Mostly all the sports are played in our College like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, volleyball.

Hostel Facilities

5

For the first year, I stayed at the College hostel which is on a triple sharing basis. The amenities were good. Annual fees of hostel including mess charges were expensive than renting a PG nearby. So, for cost-cutting, I rented a pg from the second year.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there is a particular website for it and College also provides alumni meets every year in all the major cities of India. I have attended the Delhi alumni meet once and they are very helpful to learn to form your seniors what steps you should take next to get a good placement or an internship.

Admission

There was an exam conducted by the College called UPSEAT. Based on your rank you get admission by counseling. Once you get selected in counseling you have to enroll yourself by paying a draft of a certain amount. I selected material science because my family business is related to metals.

Faculty

4

All the faculty in the College have a good amount of teaching experience. They must have pursued a Ph. d to teach in our College. Faculty are assigned for each and every specialized course. Most of the faculty are IIT alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
