College management, teachers and staff are very helpful.

Every subject included assignments and mini-projects in labs. Also, VAP courses were there to teach new technologies and topics. Workshops and industrial visits were regularly organized. The project in the final year was mandatory for all students. It really helped me to get better skills required in jobs.

Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Byjus, etc. were top companies. There was a Training & Placement cell which used to inform about the upcoming drives and organized them in college. It also informed about the selection and steps to follow. More than 95% of the students were placed each year. Personality development classes, coding classes, mock interviews, etc were organized to prepare us for recruitment.

Zion was the cultural event of college. It included Celebrity night, events, DJ night, Fashion show, etc. Manthan was also an event which included many events. Kai po che was a kite-flying event. Mask Making Competiton was an event organized by SPIC MACAY society. Literary events were also organized.

My fees for BTech CSE was Rs. 140000 per year. It can be submitted by online mode or cash. Also, if we faced financial issues and could not deposit the fees, we were given extensions and sometimes fees relaxation also. No additional charge was there. The fee of each facility was clearly mentioned by the college.

The scholarship provided was through the government. Also, scholarship for Jammu and Kashmir students was there.

There was almost an equal number of boys and girls in my batch. Sports competitions and other competitions were organized. There was a robotics club that participated in national level competitions. Debate competitions were part of literary events organized in college.

There is an Alumni Association that connects all Alumni of the college. Also, regular Alumni Meets are being held for interaction.

I got to know about COER through a call from the college staff. I opted for this college because of the facilities and placement provided. Also, itis situated on the highway so it is easier to reach. For admission, I visited the college and the staff was very helpful. I checked the classrooms and met with the teachers also.

The faculty of my college were well qualified and knowledgeable. There were around 16-17 faculty in CSE department, some with PhD degree and the rest with M.Tech. degrees. The average age was around 30 years. The teachers were very clear and helpful. There were GATE and NET qualified teachers also.
