NICE college with great potential

Good college to get in with great infrastructure and nice faculty.

The course curriculum is good. It has been recently updated by the Uttarakhand Technical University as the college is affiliated to this government university which is a good thing. Industrial visits and workshops are regularly organized from the first year itself.

Placement of the college is good with the highest placement for CS-IT branches. Companies like TCS, TechMahindra, Wipro, Infosys, IBM regularly visit the college. As the college os near to industrial area Sidcul(Haridwar) so core branches also get placed. One senior grabbed internship in Mercede with huge stripped and one student is placed with the highest package of 39.5 lakhs per annum.

There are many events organised in the college. Every student committee has its own fest and one big cultural fest known as ZION and one big Technical fest known as MANTHAN. There are many clubs such as The Eco Club etc and Ngo- Praharsh and Pankhudi. Apart from these, there are many committees running inside the college.

The fees are not as high as compared to other private colleges. It is feasible and worthy. Scholarship, as mentioned, are also provided. The fee structure is mentioned in the college brochure itself. There are no additional fees charged for admission. There is COER-SM also which is for management courses.

The scholarship is provided based on your result in subsequent years. There is a scholarship provided by the college and there are many scholarships provided by the university also.

Campus life is great as many extracurricular activities are happening always inside the campus. Sports are also good here and inter-college competition is also organised regularly. There are many places to hang out nearby such as Dehradun, Mussourie, Haridwar and Shimla etc.

Seniors are helpful and we have alumni achieving great in their life. We have people working in dream companies such as Microsoft, Google and Amazon. Even two-pass outs are working as directors in Hollywood.

Admission is done on the basis of Uttarakhand counselling. One has to appear in the counselling in order to get a seat in this college. One can also visit the admission department present in the college itself to get further assistance in the admission procedure. The factor that encouraged me to join the college is its alumni base.

Faculties are great and are really helpful. Most of them are Phd's from IIT's and reputed institute. Even some of them are from foreign universities and have done a Post Doctoral Fellowship. Faculties encourage students to give their best and even provide extra help not for only academics but for everything.
