college of engineering Roorkee has diversity in students. Here some students come from nearby cities like Roorkee, Haridwar, Dehradun etc. In COER some professors are from different community and different cultures. College takes admission in the various course through counselling conducted in its own premises. The admission procedure is based on the merit list which is based on marks obtained in Intermediate level. Merit list goes highest for the course B.Tech Computer Science.
