Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of UPES is same AS IITs. The student chapters here are quite beneficial for students and the college provides a lot of opportunities to the youngsters. My course is actually very helpful to understand data mining.
Placement Experience
Lots of great companies like, amazon, postman, xebia, dell, nineleaps etc came to the campus to give jobs to the young minds of UPES. They gave some internship opportunities as well which offered an average stipend of 10000
College Events
Urjaa is the annual cultural fest and ignite is the annual technical fest celebrated in upes dehradun. Apart from these events, many events like hackathon, code marathon, etc are also organised by UPES dehradun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite expensive. 15 lakh rs for a CSE bachelor's degree is something to worry sometimes. Though there's around 90% placement in college but still. Good college, good placements. Good.

Admission
I first filled the form for taking admission in UPES. Later I got a mail regarding my selection in the college and I attended a counselling to take my desired course. The counselling was an easy process and I got my desired branch, computer science. Later I came to know that there are several specialization as well in computer science. I selected business analytics and optimisation as my specialization.
Faculty
Faculty of the University is very helpful and experienced as well. Facilities teach from the basics but the only problem is, the first year students who aren't from computer backgrounds face difficulties while learning C language.
