Review Your College

The positive remark about my college is for how well it promotes female participation in almost every field possible. And a negative remark is for not maintaining hygiene in the campus which is a major issue.

The course which I'm pursuing (Bachelor in Business Economics) has been adopted from the Harvard University. It's a professional course and thus the curriculum has been made accordingly. I don't feel if the curriculum is hectic rather it's interesting and good for students' development.

The placement cell of our college is still in the developing stage although it provides a nice exposure and opportunities to the students. It also provides us internships. I also interned in the summer break with a stipend of Rs. 8000 per month.

Our college conducts a number of cultural, departmental, technical and management events and workshops. The famous ones are Vividha: The cultural fest, Eminence: The Business Economics fest. Recently, we also had a workshop organized by Microsoft at our college.

Since the course which I'm pursuing is a self - financed course, so the fee structure for our course is almost three times the fee of other courses offered in the college. As the fee structure for regular graduation course is Rs. 5000 maximum, but ours is three times than that.

Our college, being under a central University, offers numerous scholarships and loan facilities as well. There are fee waivers given to the students who belong to minority group and to the students who are from the sports quota.

Our college is well known for sports. The baseball team of our college has even represented the country internationally. The facilities are very good and more focus is always paid to make them even better.

I've not opted for any hostel. Our college doesn't have a hostel facility although PG facilities are available nearby. Also, students can find accomodations in the main hostel of Delhi University. The rentals for the same are also feasible.

Fortunately, our alumni and seniors are very helpful. Recently, my senior recommended me in good firm from where she completed her internship. We get a good guidance from them regarding various things in and out of the college life.

I'm from non - medical (PCM+CS) stream and hence was preparing for JEE entrance for getting admission in a good engineering college. When the results came out, I eventually had score which made me eligible for an admission in Delhi Technical University which is one of the best engineering colleges in India. But simultaneously I also got admission in Delhi University under the course BBE. I knew that I was never interested in pursuing engineering as a career so I took a chance and went on to pursue a completely new subject i. e. Business Economics. Today, I'm in second year of my majors in Business Economics and I'm loving this subject. I'm proud that I Choose this field and want to explore more in it.

I'm a student of Delhi University whose faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Fortunately, the faculty of our course always put their best efforts in giving us as much knowledge as they can.
