I am a computer Science Engineering student. As my opinion nowadays computer is the big issue of everyone's life.so I suggest to love this course and enjoy it's not a toughest one. Exam structure is semester based.its really easy and useful for everyone.

Yes. our college offered placement opportunity. Our college not provide any internship.Nwar about 5 companies are coming on campus and they offered the huge no of students and also gives the higher package.

Our college celebrate foundation day, all national days, technical fest, annual sport, annual football, annual cricket, annual bat mintton, annual table Tanis, farewell party, teachers day, Xmas day.

Our college fee structure is feasible.it totally follow the university rule.in 4 year btech fee structure is 4 lakhs.

I got admission this college via the JELET exam counciling process. After counciling I choose this college because my college is top 10 college in Kolkata and it's also nearby my home. So I am proud to be a part of this college.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

See,I didn't get good percentile in jee advance and so I choose to give wbjee exam to get a seat in engineering colleges and I got a rank of almost 17k where I got cse department in 2nd phase of wbjee counciling.I choose St Thomas College of Engineering and Technology because the fees is very low compare to other colleges as I don't get jadavpur university or any other top in that rank and I am very happy from my decision because of you need a college that gives placement and fees is not too high .This college is best for that....Read More
