Remarks

College management is average. Some events are organised in really good way while some are not even taken good care of.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course that is taught in my college is definitely very helpful to go in the industry in the future as well as ability to clear the important entrance exams like GATE. The faculty is very helpful to teach us the curriculum and I am thankful of all the teachers. Also the college organised an industrial visit in 2018 to Dehradun.

Placement Experience

4

There were many companies that visited the campus this year like Capgemini, Cvent, DXC Technology, Virtusa, L&T Infotech etc. To call the companies to the institute, the training and placement cell contacts to the company, the officials from the company visit the campus and conduct tests and interviews and select the students. Almost 50% of the students get placed from the institute every year. The institute does not take any special steps to prepare the students for the placement.

College Events

4.5

There are multiple events that are organised in the institute every year. The biggest event is the annual techno-cultural fest "Cliffesto" which is organised at a big stage and most of the students take part in this fest. Apart from this, there are many technical, cultural and sports fest that are organised in the institute.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fee for me is around 65000 per semester but it's not same for everyone. The institute fee is different for students based on their annual family income. The institute accepts the online as well as offline mode of fees. There was an additional fee that I paid for admission which was around 45000. Yes there is transparency in fee-breakdown of the college and anyone can view it over the website.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides scholarships to the students but it is only for reserved category students, since I'm a general category student so I could not avail it.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio is not good in the college but the environment of the college is really good. All the students can attend the parties, workshops etc organised in the institute and there is no discrimination in any student whether he's of any race, religion, sex or economic status.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I live in hostel and I can say that the hostels are very decent and provide good facilities to the students. The number of students that reside in a room are different for different batches. 6 for first year, 3 for second and third year and 1 for final year.

Alumni/Alumna

There are no alumni that I've contacted with but the seniors of the institute were really helpful and have encouraged us to participate in the events and organized them that's why I'm becoming a better professional.

Admission

I cleared the JEE Main Entrance Exam in April 2016. I was very keen to go to a technical college and what better than an institute of National importance. During the counselling, I got NIT Uttarakhand and I was very happy to be a part of it. My college has provided me a platform to become a good professional.

Faculty

4

The approximate number of lecturers in my course are 8 and the average age is 28 while the average qualification is PhD. As they've achieved the doctorate degree in their field so they're highly qualified and n expert in their subject and really helpful to make students understand the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
