An Expensive Personality

The college students are quite hardworking but due to certain circumstances it is not growing the way it should.Although it has improved a lot but there is a lot more to be done mainly being a good infrastructure.

The course curriculum is as prescribed by the board of directors of NIT's.It cannot be said according to my point of view that the curriculum is purely research driven but some modern technology is adopted in studying as far as my branch is concerned.

The average package of my companies lies between 6-7 LPA.Mostly service based companies like Capgemini,LnT,ZS,etc visit the college.Almost 30-40% students get placed every year with CSE branch getting the most.CSE gets a placement of around 90%.Avearge package of CSE is around 7LPA.

Technical-Prodyogeeky,Technical quizzes Cultural-dahi handi,stage play,etc In extracurricular events our college stands out.Even after having a small campus,it utilizes that to full capacity.I have personally participated in many events like debate,stage play,etc

The fee structure is quite feasible because it depends on the income of parents.Less than 1 LPA have 0 fees,between 1-5 LPA gives 20833 fees and beyond that gives 62500 total of semester tuition fee.Some additional charges such as security money are charged at the time of beginning which is refundable.

I have not opted for loan and I have been awarded Swami Dayanand Education Foundation in my 3rd year.The amount was 17,500.I applied for the same via my college on their website.It was quite flexible.

The campus life in Parent Campus was quite vivid.There are many Student/Dorm Parties, workshops, cultural societies or Student diversity in our college.Also there is one student club which was earlier formed via election.Now it is replaced by conducting personal interviews.

Yes I have taken hostel facility.In my first year there were 6 people in a single room .In second year there were 4 in third year because of shift of campus there were 3 and now in my final year there is one person per room.

Since our college was established in 2010 so it does not have a very strong alumni network.I personally have few helpful seniors in my contacts.They were ready to help any junior at any time.

I gave an entrance exam known as JEE(Main).This exam is usually conducted in the month of April and NIT's are given to top 3% of students.The exam form is usually released in the month of December.At my time exam was conducted in both online and offline mode.

The number of lectures in a week vary from 2-4.The faculty is young but efficient.Now PhD is compulsory for each faculty.The major difference lies in my college being in the remote area.Some capable people don't want to join this for the same reason.
