Course Curriculum Overview
The history honours faculty is one of the best in the whole of University of Delhi. They provide excellent approach to the topic assigned and give us adequate assignment to get an insight of the syllabus. The exam is conducted by University of Delhi which is quite fair as per all the colleges take part.
Placement Experience
The placement is managed by placement cell present in our college. They are quote efficient in bringing in sponsors and companies. But the placement is not that good as they all prefer the north campus Colleges.
College Events
A fest is conducted in the month of January February. Apart from the fest there are a lot of cultural actually taking place every month or twice a month. The college have an impeccable record of being the best team for hockey in the whole of University of Delhi.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for most of the courses is less than 20000 per annum. They also charge exam fees of 600 below per semester. So the total course corresponds to less than 65000 for thouree years. This is Nothing as compared to private colleges who charge the same for an year. So this is a very inexpensive source of education.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I haven't availed any scholarships. But the college provides scholarships for toppers per year. They can refer the Administration for details.
Campus Life
The csmpus life is quite proficient. There are debating society called "Sheersharth" which regularly conducts debating events. The e cell takes care of promoting students with entrepreneur attitude. Similarly there are music society,dance society and other societies for every possible skill.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah the seniors are quite friendly in nature. They help us right from the admission till the end. The teachers also promote this.
Admission
Fill up the form on du portal till may. Wait for subsequent cutoffs in june to august based on your percentage in 12th examination. Bring required documents and fill the fees on du portal if you are approved for admission. Take admission for the required course.
Faculty
The faculty are quite helpful. They have their expertise on specific topic and each professor have a phd. In what they are teaching. There are separate teacher for separate parts in some cases in a particular syllabus. The internals are also quite fairly conducted in our college.
