My Review

For the person who want to study and prepare for the competitive examination by self study this is the best place. For the students who are seeking for placement it's the worst college in India.

If we talk about course curriculum so there are total 8 semester, every semester have the weightage of 1000 marks in which external marks covers 600 marks, internal marks covers 300 marks and practicals carry 100 marks. In every semester there are 6 subjects and 4 practical labs. The whole syllabus carry 40 lactures for the major subjects and 25 lactures for miNo,r subjects. Every semester is interlinked with each other and every semester is the progressive mode of level of hardness. Since the subjects which arr under the syllabus or course curriculum are similar to the syllabus of UPSC IES, GATE, SSC-JEE, ISRO, BARC, and various other competitive examination, this helped me to crack gate and boost my preparation for other services examination.

The placement in our college is around 40% that too only for the branches like Computer science engineering, Electronic and communication engineering, and electrical Engineering. For the branch like Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering the placement is nearly zero.

Feasible, per semester tution fee is 25000. And additional fee is 2500 this includes medical insurance, sports fee, placement fee and maintenance fee. There is no other fee that need to be paid in college. Yes, college also provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Yes, in have applied in NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTABLE under the state government for economical Backward Class.

Yes, in have opted for hostel, since the hostels are not government so all the management of the hostel is privately done by the owner there is no links between college and hostel administration. The hostels are usually in 3 sharing but if someone needs to have some other facilities they are very liberal in providing the same.

There is no such alumni network in our college. But Yes, the senior junior interaction is very good here. Since this is the only college which not only holds zero tolerance on ragging but also organise the campaign on the other colleges students who promote ragging. The senior treat their juniors as their younger brother. And in return of this gesture juniors call their senior as SIR.

In year 2016 I wrote JEE-MAINS, I got rank 207895. I participated in state counseling called Uttarakhand Counselling. In there I choosed Civil Engineering as the branch to opt, not only in the college I'm presently but also in the other colleges of Uttarakhand I choosed, but I got this college. Since I was sure to take only this branch that's why I came to this college, even though I got call from the other colleges too but my preference was civil engineering that why I didn't opt other colleges. Since my aim was to become IES so in order to fulfill that I found Civil Engineering to be the perfect branch to opt.

There are total 40 lactures for each subject, Qualification of the faculties are MTECH from the premier institute of INDIA and some faculties are PHD persuing. The better understanding of subjects is provided by the faculties but in depth knowledge they don't have to clear the doubts of students. Most of them also hold the certification from various IIMs in India under the induction program run by college. This induction program is for faculties to upgrade their teaching skills.
