Course curriculum is very good, in each semester we get more interesting topics to study such as geomorphology, human geography etc. Exam is complilled on semester basis and internal test and assignments. The research work are there, even we have our research work in March 2020, we are going to GOA as for the research regarding tourism. Even every DU student with geography subject get chance to visit many places for research work. The practical and labs are not hectic. It was quite easy, just sometimes it is hectic as they has to be completed during the final exam and times becomes less

Placement and jobs are quite good here. We have PLACEMENT CELL which provides internships and placement to deserving candidates. Every one can participate in the placement cell. We are having a job fair in our sport complex in every semester. Companies like AMAZON, FLIPKART, BYJUS, OLA, OLX ETC came to provide internship and placement with high packages.

We have various societies like VAYAM, VIBRATION, FOOTLOOSE, ETC which are very popular among the Delhi and have participated in Reputed institute such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIM BANGALORE. Etc Even this year on 21st February 2020 we have our VIBRATION i. e annual fest and JUBIN NAUTIYAL was our singer and entertainer.

Fee structure is low like annually you have to pay 12000-25000 maximum depending upon various courses. Which is very low, and also you would have less fee in 2nd and 3rd year. You would be refunded with the security that you have deposited during admission.

For pg average rent is 9000. Many students stays in pg and flat as it is more convenient. The hostel is under construction still. Which maybe son build up with 1-2 years. Infrastructure depends upon the money of the pg and flat.

Admission is on the basis of merit / cut off basis in University Of Delhi. I got admission in 2nd Cut Off in the merit list in SHIVAJI COLLEGE, I Went there with original documents and fill out the offline form with online form too. Then they verified my documents and I got admission. It's a process of some few hrs. I have a interest in mainly exploring the earth and solar system that's why I choose the geography over any other subject.

Faculty of geography in Shivaji college is outstanding. Seriously every profeesor is highly qualified and having PhD and research work in various subjects. They are very interested to teach students. Mainly I like Mr Dahiya sir, who's one of the best profeesor among the faculty.
