It was completely a reasearch based course as there are still some questions need to be answered in this vast field.

Internships Opportunities

There were only a few companies who came for internship purposes but university was keen enough to provide internship to every student in well knowned companies like IOCL, WEATHERFORD, SCHLUMBERGER, etc.

Placement Experience

Placement was not good that time though i got placed to the very first company which came to university that year job opportunities are limited to the atudenta of APE once they are passed out of the university.

College Events

College fests are not good enough that i should waste even a single line to them.

Fees and Financial Aid

University provides scholarship to Uttarakhand residentials and also the toppers of university.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesome, gender ratio was good unlike IIT chemical branches.

Hostel Facilities

Hostles were good the only thing that should be worried bout is very high fees mess food was good.

Alumni network is not good enough to rate it any star at all.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES is top class!

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT.
