Great college along with superb campus

The college management was really supportive and ragging was a big NO in this college.

AIEEE, I scored 500 rank in state. I opted for this college as the college was the best among the private colleges in the state. The faculty was very good and usually the IITians came there for guest lectures.

College internship was not that good. We have to arrange for our own internship and we have not got any stipend for our internship. We arranged ourself for our internship and have to submit the certificate of completion. The college does not help in this mattter.

Placement and job opportunities are always lucrative as compared to the rest of colleges in the state. We have few big names of IT which comes in campus, like Infosys, Wipro etc. They hire almost 150-200 folks from the batch and the average package lies between 3.5-4.5 lac/annum.

We always had the cultural, technical fest organised by the college which has all the cutural and technical things. we have dance, debates, games, sports in the fest.Also the college encourages folks to participate in the IIT roorkee fest.

It was very feasible at my time. But it has raised quite substantially now. So it is a bit heavy on the pocket now. It was 47000per annum for the tution fee in 2005 when I joined. It has now raised to 80k apprx per annum.

I havent availed any loan nor got any scholarship. And I dont remember anyone getting scholarship or availing any loan from the college.

The gender ration was very balanced and hostels are always fun. The status of the students was also very balanced. You will not find much difference in the financial background of the students studying there.

The hostels were really well maintained and they were hygenic. The mess was also well maintained but the food was very average except on the weekends.

The network of the senior students is not well maintained. And we are hardly in touch with any seniors now. It might depend on an individual to be in touch or not. As far as college is concerned they does not put in any efforts on this ground.

The exams and practicals can sometimes become a bit hectic. As they were very particular about the practicals and hence make sure that everyone attends it.

The faculty of college were really good except a few. Also the guest lectures are also arranged by inviting the IITians. It was always a great experience learning from IITians.
