Remarks

Every good thing in this college is because of students and some faculties, college management doesn't play any role in making this college better.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum and exam structure is totally same as which is in every other college of India and yeah it's certainly not research driven, they're all just after imparting bookish knowledge and there all over structure is oriented towards pen and paper exams, no one emphasize towards practical or research knowledge. If you want to land a good placement then you'll have to work for it, this college will be of no help to you, sometimes they'd even put obstacles in your way by things like not issuing you LOR for your internship. It's biggest role in making you a better person would be that they won't help you in anything which would ultimately make you self reliant and this will be the only positive contribution from them in your life.

Placement Experience

1.5

If you'd go on the figures of the college placement then it's pretty ok they'd also claim there average placement to be around 6 lakhs but if you'd dig a little you'd see that the average placement is high due to of some petroleum and cs branches all the other branches like mechanical, civil, aerospace etc gets placement offers btw 2-3. 5 lakhs which is comparatively very low if you'll calculate it against what you've spent in all those years. Some elite companies like microsoft have even blacklisted this college so now you can assume what could be the reasons behind it.

College Events

2.5

There two events which are celebrated in the college are urja(cultural fest) and ignite(tech fest). To be honest every other college in the city host far better fest then upes dehradun. In terms of fun, in terms of knowledge and even in participation from outsiders every other college performs better then upes dehradun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is highly expensive compared to what they offer. Fee for an year is around 3. 5 other then that you also have to pay an amount of 1350 at the time of application which can be paid online. At the time of paying semester fee you'll have to bring it in the form of demand draft.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several types of scholarships in the college, one of them is "all girl student scholarship" which provides a 25% fee waiver to all the girls in the college and then there's a merit based scholarship which is provided on the basis of 10+2 and JEE mains merit, though the number of seats in the scholarship are very less.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is good mostly because of the beauty of the nature and the fresh and calmness in the air, gender ration for boys to girls is around 10:1. The number of girls is low. Their are some societies for sports, MUN, etc. events are organised from time to time. They are really fun, though not lot of importance is given to them by the college administration but the students do their best to make it fun.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The campus hostels are tripe sharing with common washrooms. Every floor has around 10 rooms and 2 washrooms. That's why the queues are long, though they are kept neat and tidy but everything comes down to price which is 130000 for an year, which is according to me is extremely expensive for triple sharnig rooms. There are also private hostels and pg's which is a much better, they provide beteer service as compared to the college hostel. The annual charge for a double sharing room in a private hostel would go around 125000 and in pg's it would go around 60000.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are among very few good things of this college, there's no ragging in the college and college administration is also very strict towards ragging. seniors will do everything in there power to help you in any kind of situation be it academic or social or any other type of problems, they'll treat you like there family.

Admission

I got admission in the college through entrance exam, to be fair which was extremely easy and the admission process is also easy, college administration would do everything for you to take admission in their college. Before admission they'll be so sweet and understanding but after you get admitted then you'll get to see there real face. After almost completing my whole graduation there I'll say that the only factor that you wanna consider before taking admission in this college is the place(the beauty of the nature) everything else is of the same standard that you can get in any college in india.

Faculty

3.5

The all over rating for the faculty would be average but some particular teachers in college are extremely talented and experts of their field and they'd do everything in there power to help you. Number of lectures is quite high and but they aren't always so resourceful but every faculty tries to do their best on there own level. yes the lectures hold some industry relevant experience but that's not enough every time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
