College is located in the foothill of Himalayas. The environment of the college is very calm and perfect to study. College have various collaboration with many students facilitate to provide their students the best. As the fees of the college is very high students should take his/her decision by comparing the other similar rating college to have a better understanding.

The Course Curriculum is very good as there are many subjects theoretical as well as practical. Our cgp is decided on internals, mid semester examination and end semester examination, internals have a weightage of 30%, mid semester have weightage of 20% and end semester have weightage of 50%. The course curriculm is built in such a way that first the college will provide you all the theoretical knowledge relevant to industry and then they will take you to industrial visit where you can gain industrial experience and in this way college provides you with both theoretical and practical knowledge required for working in industry.

College is full of fests and events ranging from technical, academic to sports. The events are conducted by various Student Chapters Or Sports Society. UURJA is the name of Cultural Fest which takes place in Bidholi Campus of UPES. It involves two-day festivities providing abundant platforms to the students to exhibit their talents and skills through 39 events that include arts, photography, music, dance, poetry, drama, games and others. The two days fest involves DJ night and music night where on first day DJ is invited like in 2018 there was Sunburn DJ named Siana Catherine was invited while in 2019 DJ NYK was invited and on the second night of the fest in 2018 famous punjabi singer HARDY SANDHU was invited while in 2019 Parmish Verma was invited. Apart from academic college takes care that students are not overburdened by study pressure and makes sure that students can fully enjoy these 2 days of UURJA by inviting the DJ and singers which students wants. Feedbacks are taken prior inviting any star keeping the choice of its students. That's what makes my college a student friendly college.

Fee structure is expensive but when compared to academic and overall facilities provided by college it seems to be feasible. The total cost of pursuing B. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering is Rs. 15, 28, 000. College accepts online mode for payment of fees i. e. by NEFT, Paytm, Netbanking etc. There is additional fees charged 2 times for Personality Enhancement Programme which helps students in improving their personality as well as prepares them how to respond during interviews at the time of placements. But there is no such additional fees charged so as to secure admission in the college. College has 3 different criterias for taking admission which are mentioned above and except them college doesn't seek any admission based on donations. Yes the college provide transparency in the fee breakdown. There is no such fear of extra money being taken by college. Every money you pay to college you know the reason behind it and you get printed receipt for it.

Yes, college offers scholarship opportunities to students. The scholarships are provided by two basis. During admission in college. The criteria for availing scholarship during admission is that the student should have secured 85% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class 12th. Second basis :- Yearly scholarship is provided to students based on their academic response during the whole year. The amount of scholarship depends upon the CGPA scored by a student. The topper of the batch gets a 20% scholarship on tuition fees while second topper gets 15% scholarship on tuition fees rest all selected gets a 10% scholarship on tuition fees. About 14 students are selected for yearly scholarship based on their CGPA. I got the scholarship worth Rs. 32950 according to my first year CGPA that was 10% of tuition fees. I also opted for Education Loan from Gramin Bank of Aryavart.

University have various cultural society and there is no problem with the gender. This university have no such issues and it is a very good and peace campus. College used to organise Various cultural fest, workshops and seminars with the running students chapters. ADChe conference was organised in the month of March 2020 for Chemical Engineers in which Padma Vibhushan awarded Mr. M. M. Sharma and many other renowned Chemical Engineers visited the college and taught the students and shared their experience with the students.

No, I haven't opted for hostel. But as far as I know college hostel has triple sharing rooms. The seats for hostel are limited and is mainly provided through merit basis in UPESEAT exam. You have to book the hostel seat same day to which you were called for counselling. The college hostel offers good hygienic food as well as takes full care of health, hygiene and sanitation of students. Ambulance service is available 24×7 for hostel students in case of emergency. Rs. 1, 57, 500/- Regular hostel for boys and girls at Bidholi and Kandoli campus. However, for girl students we also have a few additional triple sharing rooms with ad-on facilities only at the Kandoli campus as indicated below: Rs. 1, 75, 750/- for hostel room with attached washroom. Rs. 1, 97, 750/- for hostel room with attached washroom and Air conditioning. Interest free refundable Hostel Security Fee: Rs. 10, 000/-. But there is no need to panic if you didn't got a seat in hostel as there are many good hostels outside the college located within a distance of only few kilometers. Some are even providing better facilities in comparison to college hostels. Annual hostel rent of private hostel ranges from Rs 120000 to 150000. Prices may vary for single, double or triple sharing.

UPES is a campus which is Ragging free and it takes very strict actions if any action related to bullying or ragging any junior takes place. With my experience I find senior students are very helpful and friendly. You can ask them about anything, they will reply you in a friendly manner and will solve all your doubts and problems willingly. UPES alumni network is very strong as it conducts Alumni Meet every year. Alumni are also very helpful and during counselling you can find many UPES alumni with whom you can talk and can clear all your doubts related to College.

I got admission to this college by clearing its entrance examination named UPESEAT in 2018. I then received a counselling letter for admission in various courses under BTech in UPES in which date and venue was available. Certain documents like 10th and 12th marksheets etc. were to be brought for counselling along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1 lakh. I went for Counselling in month of according to the slot and Date I was provided with. There I have to go through the counselling process in which I was asked to lock my first 3 preferred course in accordance to the seat left. As my Rank was quite good so there were plenty of seats available in my preferred course i.e. Chemical Engineering with Specialisation in Refining and Petrochemicals.

Faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable than most of the other colleges. Most of them have completed their PHD's and pursued their Masters from various IIT's. They have a very good command over the subjects which they are teaching. Students complete their Minor and Major projects under the supervision of the faculty members. Also these faculty members prove to be of ultimate help as you can write and publish research paper under them. Faculty helps students in completing various research projects as well as in innovating new things.
