Remarks
Lakshmibai College is an all girl's college and is a part of Delhi University. It is over 50 years old. The college is located in Ashok Vihar and is very near to North campus and GTB Nagar, which provides a cool hangout place. Also, the college has various clubs and societies which provides a great exposure. The college is one of the top college when it's come to sports. Also, the college has one if the best faculties for Economics and the faculty is really helpful, and provides continuous guidance to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was updated and the college follows the same curriculum that is provided by Delhi University. The faculties are also good, some of them has over 10-15 years of experience. The faculties are always ready to guide and help students. They also work closely with students in many research programs and also helps them in organising different fests.
Placement Experience
The placement department of the college has been active for past some years. The companies visits the college in the month of March and April to recruit students from final years and also provide internship opportunities to first year and second year students. Tata Power, Genpact, Adroit are some companies that visits the college. Also the students of our college, participate in central placement cell of DU.
College Events
Every year, in even semester, the college hosts Cultural fest-Vividha for two days and also hosts several departmental fests. The entry to departmental fests is open to other college students as well and these students participate in various competitions. However, the entry to binisha is restricted only for girls, our college being a girls college. Moreover, annually our college also host it's Theatre Festival- Kalamay which sees some wonderful performances by college theatre groups.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the colleges is also good. We had library, computer labs, sports room, NCC room, NSS room, Common Room where you can rest in free lectures. There's a big sports ground in the backyard and a front lawn full of greenery.
