Remarks

College management is very good, they tend to provide every solution to the students problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes curriculum was according to the learning. Every semester there were different subjects that were taught, relatable to the stream. In the third year, aptitude additional classes were provided and weekly tests were taken. Yes industrial visits were organised.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is good. But from last year there were low placements in petroleum because of the downfall in the petroleum sector. An average of 80% placements. University tries every students to get placed.

College Events

4.5

There are a number of fests. The major are Uurja and Ignite. Participation involves a very large number around 5000 and there a number of events like nukkad natak, dance, music, technical, case study, non technical etc. Mostly a number of colleges are allowed to participate in the event and it is a 2 day fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is quite expensive for my course it is 1. 5 lakh per semester. No there are no additional charges to be paid. Yes there is transparency in the fee breakdown and they provide 25% scholarship to female candidates, that is a very good initiative.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offer scholarship for being the topper of the class, and minimum criteria is to score above 8. The college sends us a mail and then we need to fill a form to avail it.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender Ratio in engineering is little biased on boys, because less number of girls opt in. But in these years I've seen a remarkable change in the gender Ratio, more number of girls are opting for courses and given preference. The workshops have an equal status.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, I'm a localite so there was no need for an hostel. The hostels there are good have an approximate number of 100 rooms, that were shared by 2-3 students, the average fees is around 1. 5 lakh and the facilities provided are good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, senior students are very helpful. They treat us like there friends and help us in academics as well as in co curricular activities. They help us in every way they can.

Admission

I opted for the course because petroleum engineering is a new field to opt for, it has new openings and with technology becoming an emerging field for engineers to opt for. Secondly, it was the best course at the University, and every one likes to be among the top students who are offered the course. The placement package was also interested, that was also a factor to choose.

Faculty

4.5

100 lecturers are there in my course, having a minimum qualification of PhD. They hold a great expertise, and all of them are industry professionals that are teaching us. They all have been to the corporate field and have a very good experience. Yes a number of teachers hold remarkable certification.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
