Gaya engineering college, Gaya is state government engineering college. Admission fee in 2013 is only 20,000. and we gave ?2600 as a fee in per semester. Now this time admission is through jee mains rank or you have to appeared for BCECE exam. Notification for BCECE exam comes in April -May. Gaya college of engineering have very good academic facilities, have good infrastructure. Fees and hostel fees is very nominal. Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering because my elder brother suggest me. As you know civil engineering is core branches of engineering. In our department faculties are good. In government engineering college faculties are recruited through public service commission exam, so the quality of faculty you get is very good. Most of the faculty have PhD from top iits. Lab and infrastructure of the college is very good. Classes are regular, and very effective . Semester are on time, you get ample time for preparation of semester exam.
Placement Experience
Placement in government college is very low. You have to study hard in college, for get good rank in GATE or ESE. In civil engineering, cement company prism Johnson come for the placement. After college you have to try for off campus drive of other companies. Or you can opt IIT -NIT for higher education, or you can prepare for government exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of our college is very nominal. At the time of admission you have to deposit approx 20k (it's a one time fee for 4 year) Hostel fees are 5k in a year, mess charges is 3k per month. Every semester you have to pay approx 3k. State government provide scholarship to the student who belongs to obc/sc&st category. placement in college is good, if you are fulfill the norms of recruiter you easily get placed.
Campus Life
Life in campus is very easy. In our college every year techfest is organised which called GRAVITON. every year annual function and annual sports day is organised. In library you get ample of course book, journal, magazine.
Hostel Facilities
In first and second year you don't get hostel you have to stay out of the college campus in private lodge or room-rent, which is not too costly. In 3rd year you get hostel on the basis of CGPA. if your CGPA is good you easily get single bed room Otherwise you double bed room. Mess charges is 3k per month. Meal is good, don't have too much expectations.
