Review about UPES

Good aspects 1.the college have well trained faculties with knowledge of industry. 2.good infrastructure with high class technology 3.good environment for studies Bad aspect 1. A bit costlier than other 2. Lacks in R&d fields Usually the admission process start from the month of may where you have to fill the UPSEAT form after that you have to give the exam in the last of May then according to your rank you will be get selected followed by counseling done at the college premises.then finally college starts in the month of July. The reason that I have opted for this college is that it's one of the best colleges after IIT's providing this course with great depth knowledge and best faculties. I have seen through collegdunia.com,shiksa.com and I have also taken help from my cousin who have already done this course and suggested me this also.

I chose this course because today the demand for the chemical Engineers have increased rapidly and the industry is also doing very well despite of the market failures. The faculty to Student ratio in normal classes is about 1:60 Where in classes it is 1.:30 Usually all teacher are phd from IIt's or from foreign universities and have also done their graduation and post graduation from known colleges like iit's etc The exams are always on time within a span of 2 months and the faculties were also able to complete it on time. No the exams were not difficult to pass if you have proper knowledge of the courses thought by faculties.

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The company come in month of the August. The placements in chemical branch is good with 95% usually placed every year with an average package of about 3.5Lacs and the highest package is about 9 lakhs. Company visited are PCBl, reliance, exxon mobil, igl Samsung, alembic, and many more.

The fees structure of the college is usually higher than the other colleges but they provide with the best of the industrial experience. No usually the don't hike the fees they informed you about the fees structure at start of the admission and no hidden charges are taken.the cost to study one semester is 180000. The scholarship is offered to meritorious students with higher CGPA. Yes the college provide financial assistance to student who have problems. No jobs have been offered so far.

The campus life at college is very social. The college is organizing college fest in both the semester and weekly fun events are also taking place. The availability of books is easy and also very easy to issue books and journals. Many sports activities are available on the campus including football,cricket,table tennis,basketball,etc. Social group such as Lazarus Upes spe and many more
