Engineering College Experience

Very less improvement happened on Mess food. Even after many voice from students.

AIEEE. My state rank was 999. I chose this college because it was near to hometown was more reputed since past.

Course curriculum was good. It was sufficient to cover the knowledge for an Engineer. If one studies it dedicatedly its enough to crack any of the government exams.

I don't have any college internship experience. But many companies came to our college to recruit students. stipend offered was average 20K per month.

About 60 percent students were placed. College invited enough companies for recruitment. Infosys, IGate, HCL, FISERV and other 2-3 company came in our fourth year.

There were two major events in our college. 1. Deepsandhya - at time of Diwali. 2. Rock Band Show - in April Month. All Rock bands used to participate in this event. It was so much of fun.

College fees was approx 65, 000 Rupees per year. And university fees was 5, 000 Rupees per semester. And it was bearable at that time. But fees was increased gradually as time passed.

There was no provision of any scholarship since it was a private college. But I availed education loan from bank from 2nd year to fourth year.

Campus life was awesome. Campus very nice. Nice Gym facility was there. Playground for basketball was there. And many Badminton courts were there. I liked Navaratri celebrations and DJ nights in college.

Hostel facilities were good. But Wi-fi did not work good well in first three years. In fourth year WI-FI service worked good. Hostel was two sharing from first year to third year. In fourth year it was single room. Mess food was below average and lacking quality at least 3 days in a week.

College seniors were good and helpful. Little bit of ragging happened but it was good for opening students from inside and remove their hesitation. There was no problem at all from seniors.

Exam structure was of standards to justify one's mental ability. It was obviously hectic from student's point of view but it was average good.

In first year of college faculty was very good. But for second year faculty was just okay fine. In third year and fourth year faculties were very good.
