Course Curriculum Overview

The course includes all the critical aspects of pharmaceutical subjects. It has Development and research, drugs usage, operating theatre assistance and research on natural drugs. The final exams for both theory and practicals will be evaluated by the university.

Placement Experience

Companies like Mylon, Himalaya and Sun Pharma are some who come to our college for interview. The candidates will be undergoing a pre interview program to prepare themselves for interview and to develop skills like preparation and communication.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 1,30,000 for 2 years. The college has hostel facilities and canteen. Charges like University registration fees, deposits for hostel, lab and library are one time payment which has to be paid during the admission process.

Campus Life

The college hosts many seminar by industry specialists and great professionals in Pharmaceutical industries. We also have sessions on publishing research papers. Inter college sports events are conducted frequently. Separate committee is there to control ragging and other disciplinary issues.

Admission

Students must have completed UG in Pharma and appeared for NIPER JEE exams. Application form has to be submitted in the college or by post. Shortlisted students will be called for interview with all original certificates for verification.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Life in a government college

See i didn't applied for other colleges since i qualified both NIPER JEE and GPAT exam. For NIPER eligibility we need to crack both NIPER AND GPAT EXAM after bpharm. The cut off for gpat for general category is 250 , OBS is 200, SC is 140 and ST category is 120 out of 500 marks . Niper jee is of 100 marks with 200 questions. I firstly applied for kolkata branch and then for guwahati one, i luckily got selected to kolkata which is okay by me. It was like a fream come true. No i definitely did not get any rejection but infact i got selected which was like achieving a milestone. The admission process was as usual for us to check in submit our documents and then pay the fee. Cut off varies from year to year , so we cannot specify about it exactly.
