Course Curriculum Overview
Our college provided specialization in Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, Pharmacology and Toxiocology. Basically it was a two year integrated programme where we learnt the modern analytical techniques, cellular and molecular pharmacology.
Placement Experience
Placement is good in our college, our seniors were placed as researchers, professors. Companies like Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Alembic Pharmaceuticals visits our campus for recruitment.Internship is not provided but we can always have other sources .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee for my curriculum was around Rs.1,00,000-1,50,000. As i opted for hostel facility there was additional charges as well. Comparatively to other college in Kolkata our college fee structure was much minimal as it is under central government university.
Campus Life
Our college organized National workshop on Technology up-gradation and pharmaceutical promotion to monitor and understand the various challenges in Pharmaceutical industries and to assist in their migration.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided for both male and female students, i opted for hostel and it was a good experience over all. I had a good time staying there, all the amenities were provided to live a basic life. The admission fee for hostel was Rs.2000
Admission
I appeared for the GPAT entrance exam ,i was selected on the basis of my marks obtained in GPAT followed by the personal interview conducted by the college. The very first process is to register online or offline in the college's website.
Faculty
The faculties of our college is highly experienced, they provide us a great environment to learn, their communication skill have great power to many any explanations short and helpful.Apart from this they help us with our doubts and provide us with vast amount of knowledge.
