College is good for oil and gas oriented program. but now they are focusing on the other fields like CS and infrastructure.

I appeared for IIT JEE, AIEEE, UPTU, UPESEAT. I did not clear jee cutoff, although i have got 50000 rank in AIEE but i did not get any college. I scored 600 rank in UPSEAT and i was getting petroleum engineering in UPES, which it is famous for. I wanted to opt a unique course which is out of the tradition, that's why i opted for this.

I had intern in ONGC. In ongc i worked on the rigs with the officials. I learned lot of things there. I had a great experience there which combine knowledge and field work.

UURJA is the college cultural fest, various event are held in this like dancing, cultural night, dj night etc. IGNITE is tech fest of the college. various workshops, guest lecture, technical events, paper presentations, poster presentations, robo war and many more held in this. SPE fest is the fest organised by the SPE ( society of petroleum engineers). this fest consist of international events with the participation of the students form 15+ country. it includes guest lectures by faculties from international universities and persons form industries, paper and poster presentation, it is a full package of knowledge, entertainment.

Scholarships are given to the students who scored more the 3.67 cgpa out of 4. loans are available with ease from the bank patner of the college. No other scholarships are given in the college. At the time of admission scholarships are given to the students having highest marks in the 12th class.

Campus life is fantastic here amid of velliies of dehradun. there are lot of extracurricular activities as i mentioned earlier, college have all the sports with trainers. college have well equipped labs for all subjects and infact lot of research work is going on in the field for oil and gas. many of the research works are sponsored by indian gov.

hostels are equipped with all the world class facilities like wifi, common room, play ground, laundry etc. hostels are on the sharing basis. Although the seats are limited in the hostels. But there are lot of private hostel are available with the same facilities.

College have full data base of all the alumni who work in the many giant companies, it makes easy to contact our seniors and alumni. There is a alumni meet held once in the year, which many alumni come on the campus and share their experience with the students.

Mid sem comprises of 20% marks, class tests and internal comprises of 30% marks and end sem comprises of 50% marks.

Faculties are well experienced having qualification of at least M.tech and phd. Some of the faculties had been in the industry like ONGC, CAIRN INDIA, IOCL etc., They help to give industry oriented knowledge.
