Course Curriculum Overview
As we have to focus only on one subject that is English, we focus on literary analysis, critical reasoning and communication (Both written as well as oral) through language, grammar and vocabulary for a proper formation of words.
Placement Experience
The college does provide internships, however, it is very hard to grab one through the college as most of the organisations prefer sophomore year students over freshmen. I took an off-campus internship in Oyo as a creative writing intern. The duration of my internship was 3 months and the stipend was 30,000 in total.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The major reason why I decided to take admission into this college was due to its fee structure. The college charges 2,400 INR for B.A Hons. (English) annually or 7,485 INR for 3 years. The college is reputed and provides much more than it charges.
Campus Life
The annual functions bring all the different courses to meet and greet each other and witness the talent that we people behold. There is a huge library with books from all genres, it is a boon for our course as we pick our books from the library itself.
Admission
Arts is the most intriguing subject one can ever undertake, to witness the great ancient history of English literature and the witnessing the classic novel turned into a theatre. The college had a direct admission policy which worked on the basis of first come first serve. I just filled an online application and got a call from the college regarding my selection.
Faculty
The faculty is very co-operative, every college has some teachers who blend in with you like friends while some are strict. The professors are very creative, most of our literature dramas are converted into plays for a better understanding and learning through fun.
