Remarks

This college is well known for Marketing department among all colleges in the city. The college provides a good guidance and support and it has a good location with many transport facilities. The timing of college is also favaourable for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subject we are studing is very interesting and it has direct application in the pracitcal world. The new CBCS system has made scroring a little bit easier than before. We can get lot of market opportunities after completing this course.

I donot have the information about our college placement cell. Our teachers haven't provides us with such knowledge. But I am not looking to go for job as completing Masters will do more favour to me in this course of Marketing.

College Events

As a college student we get several opportunities for participating in events, seminars and other major functions. Our college team visited many other colleges for Inter college competition of Art and Culture. Last year a paitining competiton was organized inviting 20 more colleges. We are enjoying our college days.

Campus Life

The campu of our college is not so big but it is quite sufficient for our Day shift. Projectors need to be installed in all of the classrooms. There is CCTVs all over the campus. College provides us some good facility like supply of fresh water for drinking purpose and the campus is neat and clean.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
