Because I wanted to pursue biostatistics and it is a govt. Institution. It is affordable and the opportunities are widespread. It's really good for higher studies like Mphil, PhD and projects. The College provides a nice atmosphere for studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
They are very active about everything like from college sports to technical event. even we participate in many inter college fest and make a mark as well. For education they have high technology labs. Our machine lab for electrical engineering is famous in entire Mumbai University
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I did an internship as a data analyst intern in an MNC. My stipend was 20000 per month for 3 months. The company is Magic9 media Pvt hospital.
Placement Experience
Placement is majorly in the project assistant posts or mostly people go abroad for PhD and all. Some stay for MPhil. Others work in MNCs. A few companies come but we are trying to increase the number of companies. Mostly students don't have to sit at home after post graduation here.
College Events
This is the best part about this college. People from all parts of the country come. So we organised and participated in all events. Saraswati puja, ganesh puja, onam, eid everything. Also new year, Christmas,diwali are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
We didn't avail any scholarships or loans but the college provided with fellowship of 5000 per month. I don't think any loan is available. Most probably the annual fees can be paid in installments. Other than that there's no other option.
Campus Life
Wifi facilities are there but firewall has applied to many sites. There are 2 libraries one is traditional and other is digital. Labs are the best part of the college. they design labs in very great new Interior design which appeal us to go to the lab
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. There are two seater and three seater rooms. It's very cheap just 400 rs per month. That too is just deducted from the college fellowship so we don't really have to pay that separately. The food is good and not at all expensive.
