Remarks

The timing of the college is good for me. Afternoon time can be spent doing other things. The connectivity is obviously good autos buses metro everything Is available. The teaching staff is also cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good and friendly. Not all are same, and some are rude, but maximum faculty members are very good, helpful and knowledgeable. There teaching quality is superb. They make students exam ready but not industry-ready. Our Indian education system is not that well.

Placement Experience

Approximately 900 students take our course, but everyone can not complete it. Our college conducts some placement interview even TCS visit to recruit students. But not too many students take a chance for a job from the interview. But maximum 20 to 30 students get a job from the placement. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 8,000-12,000 per month.

Freshers was the first function I attended it was great the seniors put in a lot of effort and made sure we enjoy our day. Then gradually many fest social and holi was organized by our college. Mostly everyone is eager to participate in these events

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
