Remarks

The place is nice there are all the facility available. There is a big market gariahat market close to the college. Connectivity is really nice. Timing is even reasonable and its bearable during summers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The professors were quite approachable and they used to clarify our doubts whenever there was a problem. Many of the professors assisted the students with their projects and even provided valuable career advice and also assisted them in preparing them for the university exams.

Placement Experience

As I am still studying, I don't know much about placements process. But a minimum of 89% students get placed from our college. The highest salary offered might be of Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month.

College Events

When we joined college first event was freshers. It was well planned and the seniors worked a lot to make it's a great day. Holi celebration was even nice. Most of our functions are either held in our college hall or nazrul manch.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
