Remarks

One of the best course in the finance background. This course is the undergraduate course of finance and it helps to a good base or formation in the accounts.I think everyone should do B.com first if he/she wants to maximise his/her career in finance.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is good enough to learn about finance. My college have many good professors like Prof.Bhodhissawatta, Prof. Jayanta, Prof. Satadruti and many more who are best in their respective subjects.

Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

We have good opportunities to get placed in various good companies and several good banks. Bank like State Bank, Andhra Bank came for their respective jobs.

College Events

It is very good. We have fest every year and also big functions in the college ground. Everybody have opportunity to do anything like events, extracurricular activities etc in the college. The professors give every opportunity to do.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good enough for studying as well as for playing also. College have canteen and a small playground. For study the college have big classrooms and halls. The college also have rainwater harvesting system.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
