I really feel glad that i am a student of shivaji college economics department which made my college life really a memorable one.

No Entrance was required as the admission was merit based and hence i got direct admission in the college.

It was a great course all together divided into three years covering all related aspects of Economics within the country and even at international level, which surely enhances one's knowledge to a marked extent. Teaching faculty was very well qualified and experienced as well as supportive.

No, the college doesn't provide any internship facility. Though it has separate placement cell, which provides opportunity for new comers to get absorbed.

Though it has separate placement cell, which provides opportunity for newcomers to get absorbed where different MNC's for direct recruitment. During our batch HDFC, ICICI Lombard and several other companies came for the purpose of recruitment with highest package offered was 3.6p.a.

The college encourage every aspect of a student's life starting from sports to academics, annual fest to cultural events which gives the students a great platform to showcase their talents in different field. The college has a very big play ground where annual sports day is held as well as the dramatic society of the college is very well known in the whole university.

Being a government college the fee structure is very feasible. Although the college does not provide any hostel facility but affordable PG's are easily available near the college campus which as feasible as well clean and suitable for girls as well as those students who come from outside states.

Yes college do provide scholarship facility for the bright students upto an extent of Rs.3000p.m. to the bright students belonging to backward classes. Unfortunately i haven't availed any scholarship during my college period.

The college campus is very wide with attached staff houses. The college is fully wi-fi enabled for the students as well as college provides free laptop to each and every student. The college as different labs for all disciplines. And the college library is the centre of attraction which has a large number of books in it.

When a new students entres a college the biggest fear he/she faces is the behaviour of their seniors but i would like to tell you that the seniors are really cooperative and friends as well as helpful.

The course structure of Economics (H) is very difficult no doubt however the university had framed the courses structure in such a manner that it divide the burden of syllabus from students and hence makes it easier to understand the concepts well in an very organised manner.
