Different from the mainstream branches. Interest in Petroleum Sector was also a driving factor. College had a reputation for good placements, they also have a huge focus on Personality Development and Soft Skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was mostly on point, with a few unnecessary subjects thrown in for face value. Industrial exposure was really good, the course includes a trip to relevant industries in Junior Year. The faculties were knowledgeable but had trouble teaching some points. They stick to the course and rarely provide any side information. They encourage you to read about a topic after teaching basics.
Placement Experience
Placement cell works hard enough to ensure maximum jobs are secured in the campus. The alumni frequently visits campus to give pep talks and share their experience working for a company. Any disciplinary misstep may result a student in getting debarred from placements all together.
College Events
The college fest was fine. Lots of quizzes and cultural activities to take part in, according to one's interests. Student organized events are generally good. Extra Curricular leeway is not encouraged very much, students are often forced to choose between an event and their classes.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are good with frequent tournaments. Wifi coverage is mediocre in most places which causes trouble especially during examinations. Library is one of the best I've seen with a separate digital library included. Laboratory are fine mostly but could do better with replacements.
