Remarks

Unlike other engineering colleges,comes after IIT BOMBAY and IIT Dhanbad. One of the best engineering colleges in Dehradun with respect to academic prowess and annual placements records. I also didn't get IITs because of my low score in IIT advance examination so I choose this college

Course Curriculum Overview

All the subjects in the course provides a very good understanding of the main discipline.Course Syllabus is very well updated. Syllabus updation is subjected to university decisions and it is recently updated last year.All teachers are very well experienced and are alumni of the college. They all are strict but yet very helpful.

Class Size: 55

Placement Experience

The placement process is also good here, they directs students to grab every upcoming opportunites by giving us proper instructions,students in the 3rd year itself are involved in Training & placements groups to learn soft skills,get internships,etc.

College Events

Campus life really enjoying. UURJA and IGNITE are major events.The participation from all departments and the response from all departments is quite noticeable. We also organise technical paper presentation in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course (BAMS) is very good and interesting. In initial days it is little bit difficult to understand the concepts but teachers explains very well that you will get the concepts as Ayurveda is a different & ancient science . You will get very much of written work No clinical postings and OPD postings. I think it should be implemented

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course due to my own interest. This course is relevant enough to prepare the person to solve real-life applications and adapt thinkingness and knowledge. It would be helpful if they use visual content to teach it will be helpful. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect according to the level of the paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

Admission:

The entrance exam is held on June 1 every year. IIMs .silly running. The test is for admission to all IIMs including IISK Shikesh, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. After selection, you just have to visit college for filling the form.

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!
